Baltic Open and Big Data 2017— a hackathon that puts data in the center of the stage! Garage48 Baltic Open and Big Data 2017 takes place on 19-21 of May in Tallinn at LIFT99- a one of a kind, urban co-working space nestled in the middle of a lively Telliskivi Loomelinnak.

Creative Entrepreneurship Academy is proud to present Open Government Data track at the Garage48 Baltic Open and Big Data 2017:
bringing in data geeks from the community and public sector enthusiasts who have a common goal of innovating governance and public services. Smart city tagword means better access to decisions, planning process, mobility, and other smarter solutions, co-created with local community. Tallinn, Tartu, Helsinki - pick the city, use the data and get creative!
Track is organized in co-operation with Open Knowledge Estonia, Nordic Council of Ministers
Office in Estonia, Creative Estonia.

Garage48 Open and Big Data 2017 hackathon is bringing data science closer to teams by providing them with a wide list of open databases for both public and private purposes. While open data contains stories that empower the general public and encourage change, not everyone is data-literate. People approach big data differently and by coming together they can solve problems or come up with completely new solutions.
